Sony are currently building up a large range of downloadable PSP Go games to use on their new portable. As the PSP Go no longer holds a UMD drive, all titles are downloaded through the Playstation Store. The benefit is that PSP Go now gains access to a varied base of titles from many different Sony systems.
PS One classics are available as downloadable PSP Go games. These titles are sure to instill nostalgia to veterans as they return to the classics of the past! These titles are also enjoyable in their own right, and many new users will surely embrace such great titles as Crash Bandicoot, Ehrgeiz and the Soul Reaver series.
Such is the strength and potential of the PSP Go that it can house a range of Playstation 3 titles. These arenot full blown Playstation 3 games, but rather shorter, more compact offerings. They do offer fantastic visuals and gameplay though, and are therefore ideal downloadable PSP Go games. A few examples are Final Fight, Joust and LocoRoco.
The console is capable of playing PC ported titles, increasing the options even farther. The list of these games is currently short, but Sony promise that the list will be expanded to include even more downloadable PSP Go games. The most well known titles from the PC arena available on the PSP Go are the Bonk franchise – which are as funny as the name suggests!
