Samsung LN52A750 52 LCD TV

Samsung LN46A750 has a great picture quality right out of the box, but if you want the best image quality you should have it calibrated. There is nothing better then this tv sets when it has been fine-tuned to your environment.

Samsungs TOC or Touch Of (Red) Color, I have read many things about it. For me it is barely visible and makes it a pleasant feel on the edges of this Samsung LN52A750.

I have been truly happy with this LCD TV. It posses a lot of connections and outstanding quality. You should read the manual with caution if you have any component connecters because only one set on the TV has that possibility and it writen composite on the back.

There are some minor issues but it’s not something to be concern about. The control system is a bit slow. When going through menus it may take a while to respond but I’m picky when it comes to speed. Some of the remote buttons like the jog wheel work easier for a someone who uses it slowly and presses with more strenght.

Buttons for channels and volume squeak a bit but not in an unpleasant way. The other downside of the remote is it is not universal. I don’t like that a TV in this price range doesn’t come with one.

The picture quality of HD sources are stunning with right and properly vivid colors. Not over saturated and over processed like Sony televisons. There are times when the upscaling of lower quality signals results something to be wanted. Sometimes when a person’s face can seem a bit grainy or blocky. This can be well resolved by using a HD source. With HD sources this LCD TV is absolutely gorgeous.

Use it with Blu ray player or some other HD source and you will be in heaven. I just like it. Only keep in mind that this television, like other high contrast sets, uses a semi glossy screen which can shine so be careful of your light sources in the area. It reflects about as much as a regular flat screen tube TV with standard glass, but probably a bit less.

Last the audio is adequate. I never was a fan of the built in audio on any TV but for those who don’t worry that much about it the sound is just fine. Something I have discovered though is that the TV processes picture faster than my own amplifier processes sound. It happens that the TV can get ahead of my surround sound system and the sounds don’t align. This can be easily resolved if you pause the picture and start it again. It doesn’t happens offten and usually only when I start or when I’m fast forwarding a picture.

Decision is that this is a great tv sets, and most likely the best tv at this price point, money well spent and will fulfill absolutely everyone.

If you buy Samsung’s products you can’t never make a mistake. And also you certainly can’t make a mistake in picking this particular Samsung LN52A750.
