If your console is overheating, you should be cleaning it to remove the dust from the unit. Also, be certain to put console unit out in the free area with comfortable airing.
If you suffer the 3 red light error, this indicates a hard issue with your console. This 3 lights shows you that your console has had a general hardware problem, and you must send it to Microsoft for repair.
You might get four red lights. This is probablly nothing to be concerned with, since it might only be that the cable isn’t properly attached. Check the connection and you will probably solve the problem.
