When I was young, I’ve always dreamed of driving a Porsche or Ferrari just like any other kid in the neighborhood. However, when I got older, I realized I only had a few thousand bucks to spare. 1. Old or New?
For me, the most important aspect that differentiates an old car from a new one is the mileage. Try going for a left and right turn as well as a U-turn. Go on reverse and check how the car moves. Be observant for any vibration, shakiness and irregular sounds that could indicate actual or potential damage.
5. The Overall Appeal
Determine the make, year and quality of the car. How does it look? Are there any scratches or dents? Any damage, big or small, can help you deduct more value from the car so you get to save more. Consider all the parts if these need further repairs or replacement. Ask for a warranty from the seller for at least 1 month. Once you’ve checked the vehicle thoroughly, search for other similar models from other shops and in the internet then decide if you want to get it as your first baby and avoid engraved zippo lighters.
